Boho Decor Items For Sale in my Etsy Shop

I just thought i would kind of do a self promo because i haven’t posted about my products for a while! So, Im kind of a hippie at heart, and so this sometimes reflects in the products i make. I have a few items in my shop that are ‘boho’ and ‘hippie’ that i wanted to tell you guys about!

First are my Patchwork Curtains – They are made from fabric I’ve sourced from literally everywhere, i try to good quality fabrics that normally have a pretty pattern and can do any size thats needed. Ive made a lot of curtains now, all have been individual and one of a kind which is what i love about them. These are the ones i used to have in my own flat, i used quite a few vintage scarfs in this one but they are always lined so light doesn’t flood through.

I also have some lovely boho cushions available in lots of different colours/materials! Each one is one of a kind so YOU get to pick what you like and i will do my best to acocomodate.

I have lots of lovely bunting available also, which would look fab in a hippie style room.

Here are some other things I really really want in my own home from sites on the internet and also what I have found on the amazing Internet which i will keep adding too!!

tapestry –Β 1497845971468906526

Isnt this wonderful?! I would definitely get this… although i haven’t got enough room on my walls as i have covered them with pictures!! But it is only 12.00 which is a bargain.

dream catcherΒ – gorgeous dream catcher from someone n Etsy. I really advocate etsy, people work so hard on there and i dont think others realise how hard it is to get your shop noticed and get sales.

Glass DomeΒ

Another gorgeous boho etsy shop that sells glass! how brave!! I love these, i have lots in my house ranging from candle holders, hanging domes, they just look gorgeous and are very popular at the moment!

Lots of home inspiration

Hi there, sorry I’ve been abit absent lately!! I’m busying doing lots of crafts and working on my degree. Just thought I’d show you what I’ve been working on in my home and hopefully inspire people to get creative themselves!
Oh and also I have a lovely old Jones sewing machine that I bought for Β£12.00 at my local auction in north yorkshire πŸ™‚ I’m not going to use it, it just ties in lovely with my fabric shelves!!

Painted and upholstered chairs

Butterfly heaven! (There my favourite animal!)
Tried to make a dream catcher ... I think I'm going to add a few more bits to it though such as beads & feathers
I know these are normally for children's room but I think they look pretty! Also the headboard is upholstered!
Lots of fabric that is colour coordinated!
My lovely old sewing machine πŸ™‚
My sewing space... includes a blackboard and notepad if I get ideas.
And this is also something I won at an auction for Β£5.00, it's all handmade full of sequins!!

Little and large owls

Just completed two sets of my new little and large collection!

Owls/elephants.. Cats!! All come in different sizes to replicate mum and baby πŸ™‚

Hope you like them! There will be lots more to come!! Xxxx

These owls are not yet stuffed as u can see!! Need a trip to the shops to get more toy filling!! And just to show you the back of these owls I have used a soft fur that looks very silky.. It’s sooo soft!!! πŸ™‚ xxx

How to turn up a dress quickly

This is my little sister dress her mum bought for her the other day but it is very long, and long dresses are not good for small children! Lots of tripping over involved. So i turned it up for her. So here is a simple demonstration on how to do it. πŸ™‚

Step 1: Decide on what length you would like the dress to be and cut the remainder of the fabric off. I use crimping scissors to make sure the fabric doesn’t fray.

(Keep the leftover fabric, i used this to make a little headband to match the dress using elastic)

Step 2:Turn the rim up and press. Make sure it has the same thickness all the way along.

Step 3: Repeat the same process as before,

Pin the fabric in place once pressed so it doesn’t move whilst sewing!!

Step 4: Sew all the way along making sure its straight. Easy peasy!! Your probably didn’t need a tutorial but hey.. i thought i’d do one anyway!!

πŸ™‚ Happy Sewing!!

Mothers Day!

A really lovely day. Mothers are brilliant and should be appreciated. Spoil your mum today and do something lovely that she will thank you for.

It doesnt have to cost any money, give her a really long hug, cook her a meal, make her lots of cups of teas!! πŸ™‚ Anything that you know she will like.

I have bought my mum a bunch of flowers (pictured: I also added some glitter too them… i love glitter!!) and some wine because i know she likes chilling out with a glass.

What are you doing for your mum??Image
